On OBS’ weekend program, “Watch Shows and Movies,” renown international star Rain appeared in an interview composed of a series of questions pertaining to his successful career. However, it wasn’t the “world star” who answered the questions asked. Instead, it was Jung Ji-Hoon (Rain’s real name) who answered the questions.
When the interviewer asked why Rain lived his life so successfully, Jung, 27, responded by saying, “Without any breaks, I have worked vigorously to get where I am at. I’m testing my pride, and it’s starting to get insecure.”
Jung, however, stated that once he turns 30-years old, he will begin to relax, and that whenever he needs a break, he will not hesitate to take one.
“Who do you seek for inspiration?” the interviewer asked.
“My mother,” Jung said.
When Ji-Hoon was in his second year of middle school, his father’s business collapsed. Shortly after, his mother was diagnosed with diabetes in which his family was financially incapable of providing medical help. Jung’s mother later passed away due to her illness.
“Whenever I think of what my mother went through [with her illness], I can’t help but use that as motivation and inspiration to continue doing what I do,” Jung said.
“I respect my mother, she’s the rock that keeps me sane with everything I do with my career... even if she‘s no longer here with me.”
Jung also shared that he believes his mother is one of the reasons why he’s doing so well in his career. “Whenever I visit my mother’s grave, before a new album is released, my album does really well.”
“Like watercress, I want to become a star who isn’t intimidated by failure or breakdown,” Jung said. “I also don’t always want to be known as just ‘Rain,’ but as Jung Ji-Hoon.”

30岁很快会到的,希望到那时侯,宝宝的事业和家庭都很成功 30岁是2011年吧，他的很多合同是不是到哪一年到期，原来坛子里讨论过好像他准备在那一年去服兵役的吧。看来他对自己的生活是早有计划的，相信他能说到做到。其实除了他对自己的身体不够关心，让人有些担心外，其他的事情看来是不需要我们操心的，他有自己的主意和计划。
